Dear Sirs/Madams!

We are a baseball team from Moldova. We are called “Hawks” and we have been playing together since 2005. Here in Moldova we have no baseball facilities. We play on a simple piece of land. In our country baseball is not popular at all, but baseball lives in our hearts.

We are a senior team. We do not have uniform. Everytime there’s a competition, we go with our own money. But we are eager to play and that’s why we show success. Last time we went to Brest, where we took the 3rd place. Actually we are invited pretty often, but we cannot afford going.

Next year the Baseball European Federation (SEB) will hold Champions Cup. For the first time countries of Eastern Europe will be invited. This could be a tremendous opportunity for us to show that in Moldova people love baseball too.

The only difficulty is, of course, finances. To take part in the competition we would need $ 10 000. If your heart longs for us and you are willing to help us, please do not hesitate and contact us. Any amount would be highly appreaciated.
